Zutaten:
235ml Wasser
20g Pulver Gelatine
235ml Korn Sirup

60g Puderzucker
Zubereitung:
beiseite stellen.
2 Zuckersirup vorbereiten, dazu Wasser, Zucker, Salz

Valentines Day
Marshmallows – the perfect gift for your spouse! Of course you can color the
marshmallow any color you desire and cut out any shapes you like, hence this
recipe is perfect for all year round!
Ingredients:
235ml Water
20g Powdered Gelatin
235ml Corn Syrup
½ Tsp Salt
Red Food coloring (optional)
Vanilla Extract
340g Sugar
60g Powdered Sugar
Directions:
1 Add half of the water to the gelatin and let it „bloom“
(let the gelatin soak up the water).
2 Add the remaining water, sugar, salt, corn syrup in
a sauce pan and cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
3 Change the stove to high heat, and as soon as the
mixture is boiling, cook for 1 minute. (Do not stur during this process or else
sugar crystals might form, and we don’t want that)
4 Grease a 33x22cm pan and set aside.
5 Add the gelatin to a bowl and slowly add the sugar syrup
(while still bubbling / boiling) to the mixture while constantly mixing
6 When the gelatin is dissolved, mix on high speed for
min. 10 minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy.
7 Now add the food coloring and vanilla extract and mix. (You
could use any other flavor.)
8 Add the finished Marshmallow mixture to your greased pan
and spread evenly.
9 Sprinkle with half of the powdered sugar.
10 Let it cool in the fridge for at least 3 hours or over
night.
11 Cut out the forms, dust the sides and bottom with
powdered sugar, serve and enjoy!
And there you
have it, delicious homemade Marshmallows! I have to say, they taste delicious
and much much better than the store bought, and you know exactly what the
ingredients are!
Have fun making
them, and don’t forget, if you post a picture online, tag it with #InCook so I
can see it!
Until next time!
