Halloween Spezial - Gift Karamell Äpfel Rezept - Poison Caramel Apple Recipe

Schmeisst du eine Halloween Party? Oder musst du etwas zu einer Party mitbringen? Dann mach doch diese gruselige "Gift" Karamell Äpfel!





Zutaten:

6-8 grüne Äpfel
400g Zucker
Schwarze Lebensmittel Farbe
150g Kornsirup
180ml Wasser
6-8 Cakepop-Sticks (oder Holz Spiesse)


Zubereitung:

1 Die Cakepop-Sticks/Holz Spiesse in die Mitte der 6 Äpfel stecken.
2 Zucker, Kornsirup, Lebensmittelfarbe (2-3 TL) und Wasser in einer Pfanne mischen. 
3 Auf mittlerer Stufe aufkochen bis sich der Zucker aufgelöst hat.
4 Dann auf hoher Stufe auf 150 Grad aufkochen. (Ich habe dies mit einem Candy Thermometer gemessen)
5 Zwischendurch die Seiten der Pfanne mit kaltem Wasser anpinseln  (Damit sich keine Zuckerkristalle am Rand bilden können) 
6 Dann die Äpfel in der Karamellmischung wenden. (Darauf achten dass sie Karamellschicht dünn bleibt)
7 Für mindestens 1h auf einem Backblech das mit Backpapier belegt ist auskühlen lassen.

Nun kannst du diese gruseligen Karamell Äpfel geniessen!

Ingredients:

6-8 Granny Smith Apples
400g Sugar
Black Food Coloring
150g Corn Syrup
180ml Water
6-8 Cakepop-Sticks (or Wooden Skewers)

Directions:

1 Stick the Cakepop-Sticks/wooden skewers in the middle of your apples.
2 Add sugar, corn syrup, food coloring (aprox. 2-3 Tsp) and water in a saucepan and mix. 
3 On medium heat, mix until sugar is dissolved. 
4 Now bring this mixture to 150 degree celsius on high. (I used a candy thermometer to check the temperature.)
5 From time to time brush the sides of the pan with a little bit of cold water. (to ensure that no sugar crystals will form)
6 Now dipp the apples in the caramel. (Only coat them with a thin layer, otherwise they will be hard to eat!)
7 Let the apples cool off for min. 1 hour on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. 

And there you have it, scary "poison" caramel apples, enjoy!
